ARCHITARIAN DESIGN is a Palo Alto based practice focusing on human scaled design for rooms, buildings and outdoors spaces using an anthropological design approach, paying close attention to the needs of people and the environmental cues of a place. Our team is a multi-disciplinary design team with experience in Architecture, Interior Design, Graphic Design, Public Art, Marketing, Project Management, Teaching, and Community Design.
ELAINE UANG, AIA, is a California licensed architect with experience designing single family and multi-family residential, educational and mixed used projects. She has a passion for sustainable design practices and for developing new ways to bridge community interests and design of the built environment.
MEGAN STEVENS is an artist, muralist, community designer and educator. Currently, she is a scenic painter and teacher at the Palo Alto Children's Theater. Funded through a public art opportunity, she is also completing her largest mural to date in downtown Redwood City. She uses the design-build process she learned in architecture to design creative, artistic, inspiring projects and spaces!
HANNAH BROWN, Associate AIA, is a consultant, educator, and color enthusiast. Throughout her career, Hannah has focused on graphics, text, and research which support larger architectural projects, including art direction of several branding, website and photography projects. Working with architecture firms throughout the Bay Area, Hannah has selected the interior and exterior palettes for several projects, touching these projects in a small, but fundamental way.
